On Thursday this week we had gotten tickets (from Grandma Chris and Papa) to the highly anticapated Thomas the Train ride at the Heber Valley Railroad. The weather was a little unkind to us but for the most part it was quite an adventure. The train departed promplty at noon and we went a two miles backwards and two miles forward. We were back at the station at 12:30. A short trip, for a lot of money. (Thanks again for the tickets grandma and grandpa!) But the best part of it was the huge smile on Broc's face as we got on the train. They had a conductor walking around and so we asked him to punch Broc's ticket and then he sat down and took a pic with him. I asked him how he liked meeting Sir Topham Hat and he said, "thats not Sir Topham Hat he's to tall to be Sir Topham Hat." It was pretty funny. They also had little boths set up to look at different things and then you could get a temporary tattoo. Broc picked James and Thomas, one for each cheek, every time he would bump his cheek he thought the tattoo came off so he would make me show him with a mirror that it was still there. After we left there we had a four hours to kill before we needed to attend something with some freinds so we took Broc to the Gateway Childrens Museum. He had a blast. Kris had never been there before so it was fun for both of them to play together. After a very eventful day I thought for sure Broc would fall asleep on the way home, but nope, he sang Thomas the Train songs the whole way home. We had a wonderful day and cant wait to go again next year. I know Kris can hardly wait to go again!!!!
