2nd Day

More Waffles for Breakfast! What a way to start a day.
We started our day at the Animal Kingdom. They have a ride there that is a lot like the Indiana Jones Ride at Disneyland, but this one is with Dinosaurs. Kris and I really enjoyed it, Broc...well he was pretty scared because a giant T-Rex comes at ya at the end. When we asked him if he wanted to ride it again he said "only if I can get a big gun Dad."

They don't have the Matterhorn there but they have a better ride called Expedition Everest. It is a roller coaster ride that sends you through the alps on the look out for the Yeti (Guardian and protector of the forbidden mountain). Once you get to one part in the ride you go backwards in the dark. Once you see the pics of Broc's face you will know if he liked it or not.
Next we went on a water ride called, Kali. Thinking it was just a little rafting ride I wasn't too concerned. However all of our were drenched from head to toe! Every article of clothing was dripping wet, like we had walked into the shower with all our clothes on and stood there for a good ten minutes. That is how wet we were. And with the heat it of course felt great. Just not in our shoes where they were squishy.
We went on a tour of Africa, this place is so big it can fit the Magic Kingdom in it 4 times! They had elephants, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, lions, tigers, all sorts of animals. They even have a place where they grow their own food too.
Later we went to Down Town Disney and walked around. And again we ate pizza for lunch, and ice cream twice, Yummy!

1st Day at Disneyworld

I am finally getting around to updating my blog. I think I will be doing a couple slide shows so you can get the most out of the pics. I took over 400 pics! I wont put all of course but there are a lot that are so funny and cute.
For those that want more info then just pics here is goes...
We left for Orlando Oct. 7th (MY SPECIAL DAY, b-day) arrived there around 10:30 pm. One of our pieces of luggage was missing, it happened to be Broc's. They said it went to Oklahoma, but it would arrive the next day in the afternoon, which it did. They gave us $50 so we could buy him some pj's, and clothes for the next day. Luckily I had his tooth brush and everything else in my bag. The next morning I got up early (which wasn't hard because I was so excited to go to Disneyworld) ran to Target and bought him the cutest outfit, he looked so GQ.

Our hotel had a full breakfast thing there so we had Mickey Mouse waffles for three days. They were so good too. They had a shuttle that took you there and brought you back at certain times. One would think it to be great to have a shuttle right, no paying the cost of parking which was $14 a day. Well the shuttle only picks up at certain parks at certain times, and we stayed longer on the first day. We ended up getting a nasty Taxi to get home that night, and we told him where we were at and he went to the wrong one, but we eventually made it back to our hotel.

Once we arrived at the park and spent an obscene amount of money just to get a three day hopper pass, Broc insisted on a map and was our tour guide. He had to pull it out after each ride and decide where to go.
The first day we went to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Kris and I were so excited because he was tall enough to ride every ride! No more kid swap!
He loved Splash Mountain, he kept asking to go on again and that we were going to Rabbits Happy Place! We got soaked on Splash Mountain, but it was great because it kept us very cool! He rode Big Thunder and his face on all the fast rides was priceless, he had the look of "Get me OFF THIS RIDE". He never sat straight up on a ride he was always leaning to one side. It was hilarious, but he always wanted to go again. At Epcot we rode the GM Test Track, it is a very fast car ride that goes in a circle. We loved it! We rode on Ellen's Energry Adventure that was a dinosaur ride and that scared Broc a little bit. We then went to this one place where its all about Kodack, and Broc was picked to be on stage and pose for a pic and talk about it. It was pretty cute.
That night we ate at the Dinosuar Cafe with some freinds from here, crazy that they were there the same time we were. It is like the Rainforest Cafe but better. The dinosuars come to life and then a metorshower starts. Broc was sitting by one of the dino when all the sudden it came to life and started to move, he jumped right up and wouldnt sit next to it again.

We had a great first day! The weather was hot, it was in the 90' the whole time we were there with about 85% humidity. We ate ice cream everyday, and lots of water. We also ate PIZZA EVERY DAY! That is all Broc wanted for lunch.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Okay everyone, it has been over a year since I had Breast Cancer. It has diffently changed my life in more ways then I can tell you, both for good reasons and bad reasons. I would like to think I have learned a great deal about who I am, what I can be and what I want for my future.
This next week is the Race for the Cure in SLC at Liberty Park. Unfortunately I wont be able to attend as we are taking a much needed vacation. I strongly encourage all to make an effort to attend and show your support for finding a cure for a frightening disease. Below I will attach the website if you want information on that race.
Also I would like to encourage all my family and Friends to perform your regular breast exams. It is very important to stay on top of these things and most of you are too young to get a mammogram so please do your self exam, early detection is the KEY!
I also have some bracelets for those who want one. I will be wearing mine for the month of October and would love to have your continuing support in the fight for Breast Cancer.
I love you all for your support and wish you all well.
Love,
Tracy

Decorating Time

Fall has come which brings out my decorting side. I love to decorate my front door, for me it is exciting for people to walk up to a cute fun door that just screams WELCOME! Here is my Halloween or Fall front door.

I am a Builder

I have been using a lifetime table for our computer desk for the past couple years. Not that there was anything wrong with that. I was at Office Max the other day looking for some CAT 5 wire and while looking around I found a desent looking desk for pretty cheap.

I hurried home and started the daughting task of putting it together, I figured if I put it together before Kris got home he wouldn't tell me to take it back. I couldn't believe I put it together all by myself. I actually read the directions, understood them and put it together with no problems at all! And YES it is still standing, even after I put my stuff on it. PRetty awesome.
So of course when Kris got home I told him I had a huge suprise for him. Lets just say he didnt think it was a desk of all surprises. But he liked it and I know he was happy he didn't have to put it together.

I didnt get the finished product pic but as soon as I do I will post it. I AM SO GOOD!

The pig races!

Client Night

For Kris's work they had everyone come to the Black Forest Corn Maze. Kris had a wonderful turnout with clients and family and freinds. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and that your kids had a great time.

Broc of course had a great time, he loved sliding down the slides. That was his favorite part. He even got Deni to slide with him. What a trooper! They had a little train made out of barrels, a pumpkin jumping thing, hay rides, you could feed animals and the one thing I have never seen before was Pig Races. Yup you heard it right little piglets raced. It was pretty funny and cute too. They had two different corn mazes you could do, one was Edward and one was Jacob. (Twlight for those of you not familar with those names) We didnt get a chance to do the corn maze it was getting late and I didnt want to scare Broc by going in there in the dark. I hope to go back sometime to take him through, but would prefer to go when it is light.
