Having Fun

On Saturday some freinds came over and we took the kids over to a field by our house and went sledding. We pulled the kids behind the sled on a tub, until it popped. Then we just took them for rides. After about a half hour Broc and Jacee we done so we came back to the house and fixed them lunch and let them play. The other kids came back and we had hot chocolate and snacks. It was nice to just go over in the field instead of somewhere far away where the younger kids wouldn't have anywhere to keep warm and rest.

A couple months ago Kris bought himself a new IPod, took it to work and let it charge and download music. The next day he went down to his office and his IPod was gone, some pathetic person stole his IPod. He was so upset. So for his birthday I bought him another one. We put it in a tin canister filled with Tootsie rolls and sealed the lid. He had to get a can opener to get it out. Broc helped him turn the can opener along with my nephew and dumped it out. I think the kids really liked the treats. Happy Birthday honey, and this time don't leave it at the office this is the last one you get!!!!

Happy Birthday Kris

My Hubby is getting OLD....

I have been blessed with such a wonderful man. We celebrated his birthday with some cake made especially by Broc and I. which he didn't eat because he was so full. Broc had a great time blowing out his candles. I am so grateful for Kris, he is my rock, he is the one that holds this family together. He is the most kind, loving, and giving person I know and continues to give.
I love you Kris

Merry Christmas

After returning home from my brothers on Christmas Eve, Broc and I made some sugar cookies (they were out of a bag and hard as a rock, surprised?) then put some carrots out for Santa's reindeer. While making the cookies our neighbor called to let us know that Santa was walking around the neighborhood to check to see if all the boys and girls were asleep and if not to have them look out their window to see him. Broc and I went on the front proch and waited...and then he came walking by on the sidewalk jingling his bells. We said hi to him and he said, "Hi Broc, have you been a good boy this year?" Broc just nodded his head and had a big smile on his face. "You make sure you get into bed so I can come back and bring you some presents." Again Broc just nodded his head. It was pretty cute. So we went inside placed the cookies and carrots on the fireplace and tucked him into bed.

On Christmas morning he woke up and came to snuggle in bed with us like he usually does around 7. Kris said "you want to go out and see if Santa brought you come presents?" "Not yet I just want to snuggle for a while." So around 7:30 Kris and I said "okay buddie it is time to get up to see if Santa brought you some presents" so finally he dragged himself out of bed and walked down the hall. Walked, not run but walked. Man I hope he gets more excited when he gets bigger! Of course Santa brought him exactly what he wanted, Hungry Hungry Hippo's and Thomas and the Great Discovery Track, along with some play dough.
After opening we went to my mom's for breakfast and to open more presents. Then after that we went to Kris's parents for more! We had a great time and are so grateful for such loving parents who love our children so much. After Kris's parents we went home to enjoy the evening to ourselves and let Broc play with his presents. We had a wondeful holiday and look forward to another wonderful year.

Christmas Eve

In our family we have a tradition on Christmas Eve, we all get to open one present and that is PJ's. My mom makes us all PJ's every year and this year she made the kids a pillow case to match their PJ's.
We went to my brothers house this year for dinner, then opened our Pj's. Broc of course wanted to open more and was searching under my brothers tree for more presents for him. The kids danced around and put their pillow cases on their heads and then put their feet in them and jumped around. It was a very nice evening all though we were lacking in numbers, my two sisters which make up the bulk of the group weren't here this year for Christmas and we missed them terriably.

December 23, 2008

It snowed all day today. It is so nice to have some beautiful snow along with cold weather. Tonight a few kids came over to play in the snow with Broc. Kris tried to pull them behind his sled, but we need a better rope and an inner tube. We found an inner tube so hopefully this weekend we will be able to do that.
Enjoy the slide show, here are the stars of the slide show...
Broc the Rock
Hadley Kendrick
Twinkie (Seth Lloyd) Kris has given them nick names
Barney (Austin Lloyd)

I think Broc was really bored the other day, either that or he was looking for money to buy me a Christmas present. He pulled everything out of my wallet and said "Mom where is your money?"

Winter is HERE

We have been getting pounded on with snow. And Kris is thrilled. He is so excited to go snowmobiling. Today since I was feeling good I decided I wanted to give the snow blower a try. WOW it is exhausting. And the wind was kind of blowing so when I would turn the little thing to have blow it the other way it would blow right on me. Is there a trick to this snow blowing thing? I snow plowed my driveway, my neighbors and our sidewalks and I shoveled my steps to the front door. GREAT JOB ME!!!

(Driveway to your left)
(Check out the snow on my head)

OH yeah I think you can all thank me for the snow, because I put a sign out on my front door last week that says "will work for snow" and the next day it snowed. YOUR WeLcOmE!
Oh yeah and you might say um there is still snow, well it was coming down pretty good when I was plowing, but I get an A for effort.

Snuggling with Mom

As many of you know last week wasn't the best week.
So each day Broc spent pretty much the whole day
with some cousins or friends so I could rest. I missed
him terribly, and felt really bad that he had been
gone every day. However at the end of the day he would
come home
and want to just snuggle with me. I was getting
worried he didn't want to hang out with me anymore
because every time Kris would pick him up to come
home he would cry and say he didn't want to go home.
But him wanting to snuggle with me means more than I can ever tell you. Now let me remind you all last week I pretty much spent all day in PJ's so I dont look all that appealing so be prepared!

Christmas Dress

This past Sunday I wasn't able to go
to church because I wasn't feeling so hot.
However my two boys went and
of course Broc had his new Christmas
outfit on. He looked so handsome.
I was sad I wasn't able to go because
Kris had to say the prayer in church. Lucky man. Anyway just
wanted to show off how handsome and photogenic my son is.

December 14, 2008

On Saturday night Broc and I were just hanging out, I was making me some hot chocolate and Broc was playing trains when our door bell rang. I wasn't expecting anyone, so I slowly walked to answer the door. When I opened the door I was excited and surprised to see Holly Jenkins. I was in her ward before we moved over here and she is also a fellow Breast Cancer survivor. She has been so supportive and encouraging throughout this whole ordeal. She and her beautiful daughter came by to drop off a Christmas present for Broc, Kris and myself. We were able to chat for a few and she appoliged for not coming around more often to visit. This wonderful women whom I didn't know very well only through church was feeling bad for not coming to visit. She is an amazing women and has overcome so many other trials in her life other than her fight with cancer. I hope she knows what an inspiration she is to me and how much I love and appreciate her love and support. It was so thoughtful of her to bring us anything at all, she had brought Broc two games, Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders. She brought Kris some nuts and me the cutest little shirt and handbag made out of money. Here are some pics of those things.
Broc was so tickled to get to open her gift and we immediately had to play. I enjoyed ever minute we played, all though he couldn't quite understand that you had to play a certain way and when there was a slide it would put you back towards the bottom. It was very cute though.
So thank you Holly, I am so thankful to have the chance to know you and have our friendship grow. You are a blessing in my life as well as my families, and we want to again thank you for all your support.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Love,
Tracy

My dad has been bugging
me about posting on my blog
the difference in my hair loss.
So here is a pic from what it
looked like in August and then today.

Joy School Winter Crafts

Joy School

On Friday the kids that are in Broc's Joy School went down to Odgen to see the cute little houses they have on display along with the lights. Though it was in the morning we were still able to see the lights.
It was pretty cold, but the kids didn't seem to care one bit. Us mothers however were freezing. While walking around we saw Mrs. Clause. So we took pics with the kids with her. Then of course the kids saw a play ground and they wanted to play there, so for about fifteen minutes we let them play.
After we left there we were headed back to my house to do a craft and eat some pizza. I thought well I will order it on the way home so it will be ready by the time we get back. Once I called they told me it would be a two hour wait. I was like WHAT???? So I told them we would pick it up on the way back. Well you konw how women are I got to talking with Mauri and the next thing I knew we were back at my house and were starting the craft before I realized the pizza man wasn't coming and that I was supposed to pikc it up. Talk about an air head. So I ran to pick it up while the kids and their mothers helped them finish their craft. The pizza was pretty good but the company was the best. I think the kids had a great time looking around down town and I hope the mothers had a great time as well. Here are some pics of the kids looking around.

Keeping Warm

With the thinning hair and all my friend came over last week and showed me how to tie scrafes in a cute way. Here is one way that is simple and somewhat cute I think.

Thanks Erin for your help and support.

TWLIGHT

Finally I went to see the ever so popular Twlight. I went with a couple of girlfriends and my sister in law and we had a great time. We went to dinner first at Iggy's, that was pretty good, the conversation was great.
Then off to the show we went. I was so excited I could hardly stand it. I must say the book is much better of course, however the movie was a little slow but excellant. Out of the five of us that went only two of us read the books, so girls I hope watching this movie put a fire under your behinds so you will read it! You will want to read the books to find out about Jacob and is Bella really ever going to become a vampire???? You must read them before the next movie comes out. So ladies you have at least a year or so to read. SO GET TO IT!!
During the show we had the typical little girls that claped and shouted as soon as Edward came on to the screen or when he would save the day. Along with clapping came the oOOOOOOOOssssssss and AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh. Seriously girls he cant hear you!!! And he isn't real, come on. I couldn't help but laugh though. So for those who havent seen the movie, go watch it, it is pretty darn good for a low budget flim. And for those who haven't read the books, read them they are really good.
Thanks for going ladies I had a great time and can't wait till our next ladies night.

Christmas Treats

As many of you know I am not the best at making things, food that is. Or I guess I am not one who is lucky when it comes to making food. Today however I must say that this was a success. I went over to my sister in law Cami's to make some treats. We made chocolate covered pretzels and Oreos. They look pretty good and honestly taste very good. I plan on delivering them to some neighbors this weekend. The true test if they are good will be if I see them at Church on Sunday or not. Here are a few pics of us making the treats.
P.S.
We had to treat ourselves after we made the treats so we took the boys to The Pizza Factory for lunch.

Doctor Doctor Help

Broc's latest thing is playing Doctor. Here is how he plays it...
Broc: "Doctor Doctor Help!"
Kris: "What seems to be the matter?"
Broc: "Well I was at the Zoo and getting all the animals stickers and ah one of the elephants licked me and one of the elephants bit me. Will you please fix it doctor?"
Kris: We will need some bandages, onitment, and you will see a shot and need to rest and come back and see me."
Broc: "Okay thanks Doc I am all better."

My turn
Me: "Doctor Doctor help"
Broc: "What seems to be the matter sir?"
Me: "I was riding my bike and hit a pot hole and hurt my foot."
Broc: "Oh, so where was the pothole patient?
Me: "In the street"
Broc: "Your ear looks fine"
Broc: "what do we need!"
Me: "I said my foot not my ear, I dont know what we need your the doctor"
Broc: "A cast, I have yellow green purple or black. What color mom"
Me: "Pink"
Broc: "(A noise with his mouth) Here you go you need come back and see me in one minute. And here is a sticker for a really good patient"

He will play this in the car for hours and it helps keep him up when he is tired. Last night he played with Kris and here are a few pics of the incident.

Doctor is resting from working such long hours. I wonder how much he will charge? One good thing about this Doctor he gives Kisses and doesnt charge you anything, I think we need more just like him!
