My first fish

Broc caught his first fish! A nice size rainbow trout! He even brought it home in a bag for me to see. Our dear freinds the Flemings took him fishing. Angela showed him how to put the goop on and how to cast a line. He was so proud. He even was spoiled and got a new fishing pole, a Lightening McQueen pole. I gues one of us should get a lience so we can take him fishing! Thanks to the Fleming family for taking Broc and showing him a great time. We love you guys!

Finally a Yard

(The front flower bed)
Well the time has come for us to do our yard! We will finally have grass to walk bare foot on, and less dirt and mud tracked into my house! Here are a few pics of what they have done so far. They have moved a lot of my rocks and placed them where I wanted them placed and brought two more loads of dirt in. Today (Friday) they should be starting on my sprinklers and by the end of next week hopefully my curbing will be in. By the 1st of May we hope to have grass.

The Easter Bunny Left Tracks

When Broc woke up on Easter morning he saw little bunny feet everywhere. He had to follow the tracks around the house to find out where the bunny left his Easter basket.
It was funny to watch him follow the tracks especially when they were on the wall and on the couch. It took me two hours to cut them all out and I would do it all over again to see the look on his face as he followed them around.

Easter Sunday

On Easter sunday we went to Kris's parents in the morning to visit then went to church. After church we went to my parents house were we had a wonderful dinner and had yet another Easter egg hunt. Since there was only three kids, they had more then enough candy to go around and it didnt take quite so long for them to find them. We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, we are grateful for this time of year to reflect on our Savior and remind us of his endless love for us.

Easter Egg Hunt

Well this Easter seemed to be a lot more fun then the past. Only because Broc finally got the idea on how to hunt for Easter Eggs. We went up to Grandmas city Easter Egg hunt, they had a seperate part for kids 0-3 which was nice, they just threw a whole bunch of candy on the grass and away they went. At first Broc was a little scared because there were so many kids by him, but once he figured out that the candy was there for him to pick up he went to town. He even tried to take some out of someone else basket. After all the kids pretty much left Broc wanted to go back to the grass and take a closer look to make sure he didnt miss any candy. So Grandpa pulled a few pieces of candy from his pocket and threw them on the ground while he wasnt looking. Broc thought he was pretty cool that he found more once all the kids left. As you can tell as he started finding candy he wanted to eat as he went. We had a wonderful time and cant wait to do it again next year!
