Snuggling with Mom

As many of you know last week wasn't the best week.
So each day Broc spent pretty much the whole day
with some cousins or friends so I could rest. I missed
him terribly, and felt really bad that he had been
gone every day. However at the end of the day he would
come home
and want to just snuggle with me. I was getting
worried he didn't want to hang out with me anymore
because every time Kris would pick him up to come
home he would cry and say he didn't want to go home.
But him wanting to snuggle with me means more than I can ever tell you. Now let me remind you all last week I pretty much spent all day in PJ's so I dont look all that appealing so be prepared!

Christmas Dress

This past Sunday I wasn't able to go
to church because I wasn't feeling so hot.
However my two boys went and
of course Broc had his new Christmas
outfit on. He looked so handsome.
I was sad I wasn't able to go because
Kris had to say the prayer in church. Lucky man. Anyway just
wanted to show off how handsome and photogenic my son is.

On Saturday night Broc and I were just hanging out, I was making me some hot chocolate and Broc was playing trains when our door bell rang. I wasn't expecting anyone, so I slowly walked to answer the door. When I opened the door I was excited and surprised to see Holly Jenkins. I was in her ward before we moved over here and she is also a fellow Breast Cancer survivor. She has been so supportive and encouraging throughout this whole ordeal. She and her beautiful daughter came by to drop off a Christmas present for Broc, Kris and myself. We were able to chat for a few and she appoliged for not coming around more often to visit. This wonderful women whom I didn't know very well only through church was feeling bad for not coming to visit. She is an amazing women and has overcome so many other trials in her life other than her fight with cancer. I hope she knows what an inspiration she is to me and how much I love and appreciate her love and support. It was so thoughtful of her to bring us anything at all, she had brought Broc two games, Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders. She brought Kris some nuts and me the cutest little shirt and handbag made out of money. Here are some pics of those things.
Broc was so tickled to get to open her gift and we immediately had to play. I enjoyed ever minute we played, all though he couldn't quite understand that you had to play a certain way and when there was a slide it would put you back towards the bottom. It was very cute though.
So thank you Holly, I am so thankful to have the chance to know you and have our friendship grow. You are a blessing in my life as well as my families, and we want to again thank you for all your support.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Love,
Tracy

Joy School Winter Crafts

Joy School

On Friday the kids that are in Broc's Joy School went down to Odgen to see the cute little houses they have on display along with the lights. Though it was in the morning we were still able to see the lights.
It was pretty cold, but the kids didn't seem to care one bit. Us mothers however were freezing. While walking around we saw Mrs. Clause. So we took pics with the kids with her. Then of course the kids saw a play ground and they wanted to play there, so for about fifteen minutes we let them play.
After we left there we were headed back to my house to do a craft and eat some pizza. I thought well I will order it on the way home so it will be ready by the time we get back. Once I called they told me it would be a two hour wait. I was like WHAT???? So I told them we would pick it up on the way back. Well you konw how women are I got to talking with Mauri and the next thing I knew we were back at my house and were starting the craft before I realized the pizza man wasn't coming and that I was supposed to pikc it up. Talk about an air head. So I ran to pick it up while the kids and their mothers helped them finish their craft. The pizza was pretty good but the company was the best. I think the kids had a great time looking around down town and I hope the mothers had a great time as well. Here are some pics of the kids looking around.

Keeping Warm

With the thinning hair and all my friend came over last week and showed me how to tie scrafes in a cute way. Here is one way that is simple and somewhat cute I think.

Thanks Erin for your help and support.

TWLIGHT

Finally I went to see the ever so popular Twlight. I went with a couple of girlfriends and my sister in law and we had a great time. We went to dinner first at Iggy's, that was pretty good, the conversation was great.
Then off to the show we went. I was so excited I could hardly stand it. I must say the book is much better of course, however the movie was a little slow but excellant. Out of the five of us that went only two of us read the books, so girls I hope watching this movie put a fire under your behinds so you will read it! You will want to read the books to find out about Jacob and is Bella really ever going to become a vampire???? You must read them before the next movie comes out. So ladies you have at least a year or so to read. SO GET TO IT!!
During the show we had the typical little girls that claped and shouted as soon as Edward came on to the screen or when he would save the day. Along with clapping came the oOOOOOOOOssssssss and AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh. Seriously girls he cant hear you!!! And he isn't real, come on. I couldn't help but laugh though. So for those who havent seen the movie, go watch it, it is pretty darn good for a low budget flim. And for those who haven't read the books, read them they are really good.
Thanks for going ladies I had a great time and can't wait till our next ladies night.

Christmas Treats

As many of you know I am not the best at making things, food that is. Or I guess I am not one who is lucky when it comes to making food. Today however I must say that this was a success. I went over to my sister in law Cami's to make some treats. We made chocolate covered pretzels and Oreos. They look pretty good and honestly taste very good. I plan on delivering them to some neighbors this weekend. The true test if they are good will be if I see them at Church on Sunday or not. Here are a few pics of us making the treats.
P.S.
We had to treat ourselves after we made the treats so we took the boys to The Pizza Factory for lunch.

Doctor Doctor Help

Broc's latest thing is playing Doctor. Here is how he plays it...
Broc: "Doctor Doctor Help!"
Kris: "What seems to be the matter?"
Broc: "Well I was at the Zoo and getting all the animals stickers and ah one of the elephants licked me and one of the elephants bit me. Will you please fix it doctor?"
Kris: We will need some bandages, onitment, and you will see a shot and need to rest and come back and see me."
Broc: "Okay thanks Doc I am all better."

My turn
Me: "Doctor Doctor help"
Broc: "What seems to be the matter sir?"
Me: "I was riding my bike and hit a pot hole and hurt my foot."
Broc: "Oh, so where was the pothole patient?
Me: "In the street"
Broc: "Your ear looks fine"
Broc: "what do we need!"
Me: "I said my foot not my ear, I dont know what we need your the doctor"
Broc: "A cast, I have yellow green purple or black. What color mom"
Me: "Pink"
Broc: "(A noise with his mouth) Here you go you need come back and see me in one minute. And here is a sticker for a really good patient"

He will play this in the car for hours and it helps keep him up when he is tired. Last night he played with Kris and here are a few pics of the incident.

Doctor is resting from working such long hours. I wonder how much he will charge? One good thing about this Doctor he gives Kisses and doesnt charge you anything, I think we need more just like him!

Thanksgiving Point with Cousins and Family

Our Tree

Decorating The Tree

This past weekend Broc helped my mom and dad decorate their tree. So he had been bugging us to get ours up so he could do it. He begged and begged Kris and even called a couple Friends of ours to tell on Kris because he wasn't putting up the tree. Finally after some huge crocodile tears and lots of hugs he finally brought it up stairs for us to put up.
If you look closely I put a couple things up on the top but most of the ornaments are on the bottom half of the tree. I love it and wouldn't have any other way. I was so glad he actually wanted to decorate the tree because the past couple years he hasn't wanted to do it at all. On Tuesday my mom and sister in law came over and decorated my house with all my Christmas stuff. It looks beautiful! And since Kris is the biggest Scrooge ever and refused to put up Christmas lights my mom and sister in law put some as you walk up the steps to our house. Now I just need an extension cord to plug them in. I wonder how long I will have to wait. Hopefully he does it soon otherwise I am going to have to find one somewhere and he might not like that because it may end up unplugging one of his things.
Hope everyone has a great week.

Thanksgiving

Thank goodness for Thanksgiving! A time when you can get together with your family and share what you are all thankful for.
This year for Thanksgiving my counsin Scott and his family came up. They had come up two years ago with his parents and siblings but it turned out to be a terrible one for them. Each one of them got sick while they were here. So they pretty much spent their time in my basement sick to death. Not this year though. We are glad to report that everyone was in good health. They arrived Wednesday evening and left on Sunday morning. While they were here they were able to go to Thanksgiving Point, Cabella's, The Myan Restaurant, Temple Square and the one place they were dying to go to was the high school were High School Musical was flimed. And they weren't the only ones there to see it. I thought that was pretty funny.
I wasn't feeling that great over the week, but we did go with them to a couple places but I pretty much stayed home.
They have two little kids, a daughter that is Broc's age and a 18 month old. Kris really bonded with him, he started calling him monster and then they would groul at each other. It was pretty cute. I sure hope they had a great time and cant wait for them to come up in the summer time. Better yet just make the move!!!
I wanted to take a second to give thanks,
I am thankful for my loving Husband, for his endless support and concern for me.
I am thankful for Broc, the joy he brings to my life is inmesaurable.
I am thankful for my family. They all have been my rock.
I am thankful for my Savior. For the attonment, and the oppertunity we have to live with him again.

I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and as the Christmas holiday approches let us remember the true meaning of Christmas. Let us not get wraped up in the commerical part of Christmas, and really think about what we have been blessed with.
